    Desktop turns on. No Signal to Monitor, Mouse and Keyboard.


    This has happened three times now. But once hard booted it turns on with no issues. Is it possible that the power strip the desktop is plugged into is not giving the PC enough power to fully boot? It is an old power bar. I ask this because I had the same issue with my Xbox One X. I plugged it directly into the wall and it never happened again.

    Do you own or can you borrow/get hold of a multimeter?

    What is your beep code? These are the codes listed by Asus for your board.

    I think you may have tried all of this, but thought I should post in case you missed the final stage. Take a look at the pic below. Obviously read it all (duh!), but pay particular attention to the bit I have circled as it may make a difference (otherwise why would Asus have mentioned it?). Good luck!

    Edit: And when you are trying to reboot afterwards, you should be doing so with everything disconnected. The monitor should be connected to the motherboard. The graphics card should be removed, all drives disconnected, keyboard/mouse and printer disconnected. When you reboot, literally only the CPU, RAM, PSU, motherboard and monitor should be connected.

    PC turns on, No signal, keyboard/mouse.


    I can't do any of that as when I turn my PC on, My monitor is just on standby mode, And the mouse and keyboard don't turn on/light up. funny thing is I can keep my PC turned on for 1 hour, fans running and everything, The monitor and mouse/keyboard just don't seem to want to come on.

    I just changed it from positive to negative, I don't know exactly what that does but after I done that I saved the settings and now im having this issue, I have tried taking the CMOS battery out multiple times to reset the bios to default hoping my monitor and keyboard/mouse would come on but its not doing it.

    Ive tried the RAM in 1 by 1, still nothing, And also with no GPU.

    Anything else I can do or would my best option to be buy a new motherboard so the BIOS is default? Then if it still doesn't work ive broke my CPU?
