Windows 10: Desktop wallpaper changes itself to the Black solid color. [Windows 10]

Hello! Recently I noticed that my desktop wallpaper changes itself to black marked as Windows 10 solid color Black wallpaper.
First I thought it was a problem with my last wallpaper, which I had for months, so I changed it. After a few hours using my computer I noticed that it changed itself to black again. I think it's not a problem related to sync because I only have this PC. Also the Windows is updated and it happened with different wallpapers. I'm not sure about how long it takes to change itself because I just changed it twice when I had a pause and noticed it, then went back to work.
The apps I installed were provided by official websites, so I don't think it's the case and I don't use the slideshow feature.
It just happened twice today and I'm a bit worried.

Desktop Black Wallpaper Won't Change (Windows 10)

This same thing has happened to me, except I can change my theme and the accent colors around windows, taskbar, tiles, and smart menu also changes to reflect the theme and the desktop picture color, however for me, my actual wallpaper is not when I assigned
it, it is black. I can change to different themes fine, but the wallpaper does not change, I can assigned wallpapers manual via "set as wallpaper" but my desktop wallpaper does not change at all.... it remains black, I can swap to solid colors from the background
menu, but when I change to picture for a wallpaper it is black and no wallpaper is display, just black.

ALSO: I did a clean re-install hoping it would fix it, but no, it is not fixed which is breaking my mind..... A full reformat, re-install of windows 10 and the problem is persistent from the beginning? is this a Microsoft account error problem of some sort??

 

How to change desktop icon font color to black on windows 10

I have search the internet on this and nothing seem to work, i even saw a blog post saying i should change background color to solid and pick orange and then select my wallpaper, yet still didn't change my font color to black. I actually have a white background
image set as my wallpaper in my desktop making unreadable my app icon text as they as white fonts. Please how can i change windows 10 desktop icon font color to black?

 

Windows 10 desktop background settings frozen on Solid Colors

Hi,

My Win10 desktop > Personalize > Backround setting does not allow changing to Picture or SlideShow. When I select either one, it reverts to "Solid color" option, and only allows me to select a solid color. I have checked ease of access and the desktop restrictions
there are not applied, I have also renamed the Transcoded wallpaper file in appdata/roaming/microsoft/windows/themes to _old which was suggested as a solution in one post. Have restarted laptop but no effect. I suspect I have hit a key while my laptop was
docked since I faintly remember the desktop turning black.

What could have changed so that only solid colors are allowed as desktop background theme?

And yes, it's a business laptop with official windows license.
