Windows 10: Desktop wallpaper resets to default image every time I restart computer

Hello,I've just bought a new laptop with Windows 10 an Asus Vivobook Pro 14x and it happens that every time I try to replace the default desktop wallpaper with a new one, it reverts to the default desktop every time I restart the computer sometimes the new wallpaper appears for a few seconds after restarting but it always reverts to the default one.I tried the "delete slideshow.ini" solution but it didn't work this file is actually always blank by default.However, I tried another solution by performing a clean boot and it appeared to be fixed: I got access to msconfig and performed a Sel

Setting default users lets you specify the wallpaper on user's desktops and prevents other users from changing the image or its presentation. You can check these steps on how to set wallpapers from all users:

• Type run on the search bar and press Enter.
• On the window, type gpedit.msc and click OK.
• Locate and click Administrative Templates.
• Select Desktop > Desktop > Desktop Wallpaper.
• Tick Enabled, and name your wallpaper.
• Select Apply and click OK.

After performing the steps above, you may restart your PC.

Locking a Wallpaper Image Across Accounts

Hello. I need to change a wallpaper to a certain image and have it be effective across all accounts on the computer.

I tried this tutorial, but the image reverted after restarting the computer. How do I lock the desktop wallpaper so that restarting the computer does not erase the image?
