Windows 10: Desktop Wifi Signal is inexplicably low, is it caused by a windows update? Please help.

I have a desktop computer with a wifi adapter, and my wifi signal is always at 2 bars and for some seconds it goes to 3 bars but then goes 1 bar and at times disconnects. The wifi I am connected with is in a room next to mine, I live in a compound and the wifi modem is in another room separated by a stone wall.
At first I thought maybe it is because of the wall, but my sister who has a laptop always has 3 to full wifi signal. Her room, where she uses her laptop is farther than the wifi source and is separated by 2 walls, compared to mine which is closer and only a wall apart. [See picture for better visual understanding]

My android phone has no problem with wifi signal in my room, it's just the desktop computer. I checked the wifi adapter driver, there is no rollback option. Is there a windows update that could affect this?

Please help. I will try any fix. Thanks in advance.

Wifi signal Low

After update windows 10 , my wifi signal show low . I am using HP Pavilion 15. I updated latest version driver for wifi. Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 bgn . I also changed advanced option then it shown low signal.





Sometimes it see null .

How can i solve this problem ?

One step I did try right away was to answer your question about whether my BIOS is up-to-date. I had no success at the AMI site but did get some info from this commercial site:

WiFi bars are low on my computer but my other computer WiFi bars are high

Since the devices are in the same location and one device is getting a low signal, we would like to further clarify the concern with the following questions below:

• The computer that is getting a low signal, is it connecting using a external WiFi adapter or does it have a the WiFi built in?
• If you are using a external WiFi adapter, have you attempted to plug the device in another port on your computer?
• What troubleshooting steps have you attempted?
