  1. Desktop Win Manager eating up CPU-how to fix ?

I hadn't run any benchmarks in a while so I ran Cbench and thought my scores were low for system I have ...3770k at 4.2. I then went into task manager and saw my issue I think. My CPU is constantly at 20% or more even at idle. I may have enabled some services that aren't enabled by default to fix another issue that ended up not fixed anyways. How do I fix the high CPU usage ?

    :)

  2. Is it possible to completely remove the antimalware service executable and keep windows defender?

If I'm not mistaken, it can only be disabled temporarily. How can it be disabled permanently? It's eating up an inexcusable amount of system resources.

    EDIT:

It seems disabling it doesn't really disable it either. Even turned off, it's still eating up nearly 25% of my CPU constantly, and stopping the task in Task Manager isn't possible. Please fix this.
