  1. Desktop Window Manager eating memory

I have a longstanding problem with Desktop Window Manager on a Lenovo laptop. It takes up more and more of my memory over time. I had this problem over a month ago, and the only thing that worked was rolling back my Intel UHD Graphics driver. That time it got to 2 GB an hour. A week ago, an automatic update reapplied a new version of the driver along with other firmware, starting this whole thing back up. I'm going to be rolling it back again if this gets as bad as last time. Have already tried sfc and cleanbooting and malware checks, though there could still be malware on here.

An interesting thing happened: when I updated my Intel software DWM was running fine, but as soon as I opened Lenovo Vantage the problem immediately started again. But what to disable? Half of what's on here is Lenovo's... that doesn't necessarily mean the problem is with Lenovo. Though honestly it's likely.

    :)

I found on the other forums that Windows Update setting is causing it, but I can't disable it because when I try to disable it, I can't open Windows Upate AB0XMwa3knw
