  1. Desktop Window Manager is HOGGING RAM

So i have an HP pavilion 15 cu-0011tx with 12 gigs of ram and a HDD, one day the HDD died, so i decided to replace it with an SSD, so i installed a FRESH COPY of windows 10 from the OFFICIAL microsoft media creation tool and everything worked okay, i put in a legit purchased product key and everything was normal...except for dwm.exe, when i opened task manager on my laptop with the newly installed SSD, desktop window manager dwm.exe was taking LOADS OF RAM when idle! i mean when i had my HDD, desktop window manager took WAYYYY LESS around 50mb at most, now after the SSD installation dwm.exe

    :)

Desktop Window Manager: extremely high RAM usage

After a recent Windows 10 update (presumably the anniversary update) I have noticed that Desktop Window Manager will start to use an extremely high amount of RAM while running applications that previously I had no issue with.

The situation I am experiencing this is when I am playing a game (Football Manager 2016) on one monitor while streaming video via Chrome or IE on a second monitor. Previously, I have done this with no issue, and could have the PC in this state for hours
    on end with no problem.

However, since the update I have been getting the following error message after Football Manager 2016 for a while:

Desktop Window Manager is HOGGING RAM c5424e91-10ab-493d-837e-c2aa5c91fe4d.jpg

It seems that it may be Desktop Window Manager that is hogging excessive amounts of memory. For example:

Desktop Window Manager is HOGGING RAM 510e6080-db6d-4ca3-9b7b-711a2ad04fd3.jpg

Is there a known issue with Desktop Window Manager? I have contacted the developers of Football Manager 2016 in the first instance and they suggested this looks like a memory leak in Desktop Window Manager.

    Win10, Super RAM hog! 11GB.

I've got two systems running things like premiere pro. The desktop memory usage under window 8.1 is normal, but the laptop when running say adobe encoder is crazy. I'm used to seeing Adobe taking 10 to 20 GB of ram, but my system is between 10 and 11GB! Now windows is telling me to shut stuff down lol! Adding more ram won't help as I've already have 32GB in the laptop. I know Premiere pro cc had some memory leak issue, but this is my Windows 10 system. Any ideas?
