Windows 10: Desktop Windows Mgr failed; faulting module KERNELBASE.dll

These are just 2 of the failures I had on 3/27/19. Here are some others: IE 11 stopped working; MicrosoftEdgeCP.exe failed as well as MicrosoftEdge.exe. Are all this related? I find my HP computer locks up or freezes frequently. Are any or all caused by one area or are there multiple areas I need to fix.

I have neither COM Surrogate in TASK MGR nor DLL files...

I have the same thing,COM surrogate and dll not listed,weird that some people have it and others don't. I turned off 'Always show icons never thumbnails' as someone said this may help but it didn't.

DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found.

When an application fails to load a DLL, Windows generates the following error: "DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found." The message would be so much more helpful if it named the DLL that could not be loaded.
