Windows 10: Desktop won't change

I have my desktop picture set to change every hour or so but despite trying various settings it only seems to change every month or two!
I have two monitors driven by a Nvidia Quadro 600. Neither display is changing.

Also, when I first setup the two monitors, the screens aver would alternate the images on the two monitors. i.e. Pjicture A on right then B on left with A still on right, then C on left with B still on right, and so on. Now A appears on right with left blank, then B on left with right blank. Not sure why it changed.

Not a vitally required fix but it would be nice if it behaved as it should! Any thoughts?

how to change what is shown on my desktop

My desktop is showing the contents of my OneDrive folder and not user/desktop. I didn't make this change and can't get it to work the other way. How can I change what my actual desktop shows? Dragging folders to this desktop is only showing the links and
won't let me see the actual folder content.

Thanks but unfortunately I had already been under that particular bonnet of Windows 10! I had already set things as per tutorial but it won't change.
Useful tutorials though.
