Windows 10: Desktops mess up and screens turn black when I use the PC several times a minute

Hello,1. I'm encountering a very annoying few problems where my desktop items keep shifting whenever I turn my secondary screen on or off. It also doesn't get detected by my PC when it's turned off, while my tertiary screen does get detected when it's turned off.2. My primary screen has to re-calibrate itself or at least, that's what it seems like because it freezes and the desktop changes size a few times until it turns back the way it's supposed to be. 3. AND, and this is the most annoying: When the secondary screen is on, it tends to cause black screens when I use any of the screens, roug

Desktop background gone black after a few minutes of use on laptop.

Desktop background and taskbar going black could be due to software conflicts.

We would like to know some information to better assist you with your concern:

• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• Did you get any error messages or error codes?

In the meantime, we suggest that you try to check if the "Show Windows Background" option is turned on. Follow the steps below:

• Open Settings in the Start menu.
• Go to Ease of Access, then on the left side, click
  Other options.
• Turn on Show Windows Background and check if it works.

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

 

Black screen for 2 minutes before Desktop shows - Windows 8.1

When I boot up the computer everything shows up fine until the welcome screen but after that it normally used to fade to the desktop but now it goes blank. The screen is black with only the mouse pointer.

It is not hung as i can move the mouse pointer. Then after a minute or so it advances to the desktop.

I have tried one suggestion - going to Settings/Power Options/Choose what the power buttons do/change settings that are currently available/ and then un-ticked the 'Turn on fast start up'

I then saved the changes and closed the computer down.

On switch on the computer started up as before meaning that the Turn on fast start up' was not working.

I then went through the control panel settings again and re-ticked the 'Turn on fast start up' and saved that change in the hope that the fast up files would have been deleted and then re-installed

I switched off the machine and then rebooted and the problem was gone - no long black screen and the desktop came on with little delay.

Unfortunately the next time I switched it on - the problem was back!!!

Any ideas Microsoft??
