Windows 10: Desperately Need Help Resetting Acer Windows Tablet

Hi all, I am in desperate need of suggestions. I have been tasked with resetting an Acer tab 8 w1-810. It has to be reset because none of my workplace's old admin passwords work on the thing and so we cannot install the software we want to use it for, as installing software requires admin permission, and well, we don't have the password. There is no way of resetting this password as it is not linked to a Microsoft account. First of all, I tried clearing off enough files so that the inbuilt "reset your computer" function could run, but this just threw the "there was an error resetting your comp

• Which build are you currently in Windows 10?
• Are you not able to use the on-screen keyboard?

Windows !0 tablet keyboard issue

This issue might occur if the tablet mode is enabled.

I suggest you to disable the tablet mode and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Type setting in the search area in the task bar and select
  Settings.
  
• 
  Select on System option.
  
• 
  Select Tablet mode in the left panel of system Windows.
  
• 
  Toggle off the tablet mode.

Tablet Mode doesn't automatically turn on

Hi Roice,

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.
