For context, I am currently running Windows 10 Pro, version 22H2, build 19045.5247, experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19060.1000.0 on a Lenovo Thinkpad T14s Gen 2 AMD with an AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 5650U with Radeon Graphics processor at a base clock frequency of 2.30 GHz and 16 GB of RAM, of which 14.8 GB is usable... or rather, I would be if I wasn't using a loaner computer to write this as I'd rather not risk further screwing up the computer I'm talking about.Basically, I restarted my computer on January 9, and immediately after the Lenovo logo appeared there was text under it that

There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddiskvolume8

    Hi Brad,

There are a lot of possible factors for this matter to
    occur. To
isolate the issue, we have some questions for you:

    • Were there any changes made before the issue occurred?

    • Is this happening when loading a certain application or all of the application?

    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Kindly run the
    Hardware and Devices
troubleshooter to automatically repair any issue it finds. To run the troubleshooter, follow these steps:

    • On the search bar, type
      Troubleshooting
      and hit
      Enter.

    • Choose
      Hardware and Sound.

    • Click on
      Hardware and Devices
      to run the troubleshooter.

After running the troubleshooter, perform a
    check disk
and check if there are any changes. To perform check disk, follow these steps:

    • Open
      Command Prompt
      as
      Administrator.

    • Type
      chkdsk /r /f
      and hit
      Enter.

If possible kindly post a screenshot of the return message provided by the troubleshooter and the check disk command
if the issue still persists so that we can investigate this matter further.

We'll be waiting for your response.

    Regards.

  3. Disk Check Issue?

I'm having the Disk Check issue again. However, this time, I can't use Startup Repair to fix it. Can you address this?

    Checking Disk Consistency

Ok i did as viper suggested, but it stops checking at stage 3. It is still saying the drive is dirty, and still needs to be checked. I did a defrag and a disk cleanup, and suggestions?
