Windows 10: Destop Window Manager Stopped working Black Screen

I recently received home PC build and after getting it shipped back to my address, I started having issues like the one discussed in this thread: Desktop Window Manager Stopped Working, Resulting in black screen crashIt hasn't been an isolated incident, which are what all the critical events shown in the reliability history and each time it occurred I tried an additional solution. By now I think I tried everything listed besides a PC Restart which I'm hoping to avoid for now until there's nothing else. The original builder is concerned its a hardware issue that occurred during the shipping, bu

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Sounds like the old... windows black screen of death.
