Windows 10: Detailed debuging during run the setup.exe - recommendations

Hello,we have one sw non MS application, where installation via setup.exe and then application is working without any issue - on Windows Server 2019 Standard version 1809.But on other system Windows 10 version 22H2 after click on setup.exe is showed nothing no message, installation window, no any MS Event Viewer entry, and no application log or no crash dump file. Other application can be installed and work without problem computer is working correctly.We together with sw vendor not understand the situation and we are searching for any recommendation of tool Win or non Win, which c

Ethernet is showing as Kernel Debug Network Adapater

I understand that you see Kernel Debug Network Adapter in Device Manager. This can happen if debugging is turner on. I would suggest you to turn off debugging by following the steps mentioned below:

1. Type command prompt in the search bar on the
   Taskbar.
   
2. Right click on the command prompt icon and select
   Run as administrator.
   
3. Paste the following commands and hit Enter:
   
   bcdedit /debug off
   

If you still see the Network Adapter, you can disable it from Device Manager without problems. Refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows Logo key + X, to open
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand Network adapters.
   
3. Now, right click on the Kernel Debug adapter and select
   Disable device.

USB drive will not run exes.

To assist you better, I would like to ask if you have installed any Antivirus in the Laptop.

I suggest you to run the program in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below and check if the issue persist.

• Right click on the “.exe” file of the program and select properties.
• Under Compatibility tab, check the option for “Run in Compatibility mode”.
• Select the Operating System from the drop down list.
• Click on Apply and OK.
