When I view videos, the sound randomly fluctuates between loud and soft for no apparent reason. Researching this issue is when I discovered in the Intel SST audio device device properties' event information tab the statement " Device ACPI\808622A8\1 requires
further installation"

My 3 year old HP Envy notebook began having smart adapter problems right after the "device migrated" event.

I get a nag screen with the msg "your smart adapter isn't powerful enough"

I replaced the adapter, still have the problem.

I can shut down the computer, unplug the adapter, remove the battery & discharge any residual by holding the power button down for 30 seconds, then reassemble & it begins to charge again.

The computer won't power on with only the charger (battery removed)

I tried to set a restore point to before 12/11/2017 though win10 won't allow this.

Tried uninstalling, then reistalling ACPI, problem persists.

Anyone have any suggestions?
