Windows 10: device acting wierd? FSRT scan check please.

Hello,My device has suddenly started acting laggy and my browsers have been unresponsive. Whilst scanning with eset online scanner, it kept closing and i dont really know the reason why. I haven't downloaded anything from the internet and have been careful with the sites i visit apart from one accident which doesn't seem to have caused any problems. I have run the command prompt: sfc/scannow no problems were found, cleaned up my disk space and cookies and it didn't change anything. I have run MSRT and nothing was found but my device is acting weird.I have scanned with FSRT: FRST scan resultsCa

Method 1: Run System File Checker

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. To do so, follow these steps:

• Right-click the Start Menu and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Run this command: SFC /scannow
• This may take several minutes to finish. If Command Prompt shows Verification 100% complete, close the command prompt and check if your issue has been fixed.

Method 2: Run DISM

The DISM may help you to fix some Windows corruption errors. To do so, follow these steps:

• Right-click the Start Menu and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Run this command: DISM.EXE /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

If the operation is completed successfully, close the command prompt and check if your issue has been fixed.

Windows Fax and Scan acting up

Hi Buzz,

I will certainly help you with the issue you are experiencing with Windows Fax and Scanner.

This issue might occur, if the drivers are outdated or corrupted.

Please follow below mentioned method to fix the issue:

Method 1 : Run
hardware troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• Type Troubleshooting in search box and open it.
• Click on Hardware and Sound
• Click on Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the instruction.

Method 2: Tryuninstall
andreinstall
driver.

• Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
• In the list of devices, you should see the
  scan or fax drivers.
• Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
• In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
• In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes”
  option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.
