Windows 10: Device Association Service keeps stopping immediately

Discus and support Device Association Service keeps stopping immediately in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Everytime I try to connect a bluetooth device the "Add a Device" window keeps closing immediately.   1. Device Association Service keeps stopping immediately


    Everytime I try to connect a bluetooth device the "Add a Device" window keeps closing immediately. When I checked Task Manager > Services, DeviceAssociationServices is showing Stopped and I can't start it again.

    Device Install Servce keeps stopping

    Hi,

    The device install service and device manager service keeps stopping and is preventing word and excel from working properly.

    I can usually find a solution online but haven't see this problem anywhere else.

    Any suggestions??

    Hello,

    I realize the inconvenience you are facing in Windows regarding connecting to the network. We will help you.

    First Verify if the WLAN service is started and set to automatic, if the WLAN service is stopped, I suggest you to
    start the service and put it to automatic.

    Step 1: Please follow the steps to
    start the WLAN service.



    • Click on Start, type in services.msc
      and press Enter.

    • Select WLAN Autoconfig from the list, Right click
      properties.

    • Change the startup type to Automatic.

    • Click on Start button.

    • Click on Apply, Ok.
    Restart the computer and verify if it works.

    Also check if all the dependencies are also running. Try the steps to check Dependencies.


    • Right-click on WLAN Autoconfig
      and select Properties.

    • Click on Dependencies, you will find all the dependency services under box labeled this service depends on the following system components.
    Step 2: If still you are facing issues, then
    uninstall and reinstall and update the drivers.


    • Click start.

    • Type devmgmt.msc in Search and
      select it.


    • In Network adapter you will find the device,
      right click on it and select the option uninstall.

    • Restart the computer and check
      Reinstalling and Updating the drivers

    Printing stopped with November upgrade

    Hey Prestonpdx,

    I would suggest you check if the print spooler is running. Start/Stop print spooler service. Follow the steps below.


    • Press Windows key + R, type services.msc
      and press Enter.

    • From the list, locate Print Spooler service.

    • Double click on the service and select Stop.

    • Restart the computer, repeat step 1&2.

    • Double click on the service and check if the service is started.
