  1. Device Association Service using of 100% of 8-core system after exiting sleep mode?

After waking from sleep mode, my system is almost entirely unusable for about a minute because all cores 8-core AMD FX system are pegged at 100% utilization. Looked through Task Manager and Resource Monitor and the offending process is the Device Association Service. Interestingly, they say that this is only using 25% of the avg CPU, but yet all of the cores are showing 100% busy, and there is nothing else running that's taking anywhere near as high as 25%. This did not used to happen when the system was running Windows 7 or earlier, of course.Windows 7 used to be able to tell what devices w

Pc restart after exiting sleep mode

well if it works within 5min, sounds like it could be losing power

'restarts after exiting sleep mode' do you mean it acts like a fresh cold boot? or you see the windows logging off screens, then it restarts?

i never use sleep or hibernate, risk of losing the session & waste of hard drive space

Hibernate vs. Sleep: Exiting with Bluetooth Keyboard/Mouse and Avoiding Crash

    Version: 10.0.18363 Build 18363

    System Model Gigabyte Z97N-WIFI

    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz, 4001 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

When I enter sleep for a while I can't exit using any bluetooth devices and it sometimes crashes on me. When I enter hibernate, I can exit using Bluetooth devices and no crash. Any thoughts? I guess I would prefer hibernate mode over sleep anyway because
it uses less power and with the SSD it appears to be roughly the same speed if not faster exiting than sleep mode.

I was able to switch off sleep and turn hibernate mode after 30 minutes in the advanced power settings.

Power Settings -> Additional power settings -> Change advanced power settings -> Sleep -> Hibernate After -> Setting (enter time period)

System process using 100% of one core

Our system process is using 100% of one of four cores.

Zipped ETL file is here: Hightail Spaces.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.
