Hello! I am running into some issues and hoping for some help.I have a custom built PC and I am looking to see if device encryption is a possibility. Device encryption not shown , Device Encryption Support Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: PCR7 binding is not supported

I dual booted my device (windows 11) with ubuntu , but before doing that i disabled device encryption by accessing it directly through settings. now after i have dual booted i search for device encryption but can't find it in settings anymore. I ran system information as administrator and saw : Device Encryption Support Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: PCR7 binding is not supported.my tpm is ready to use and my secure boot is enabled. still it shows the PCR7 error.

 

Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: Un-allowed DMA capable

Looking through MSINFO32 I see the line:
Device Encryption Support Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: Un-allowed DMA capable bus/device(s) detected

What does it mean? My laptop C:\ drive is encrypted the whole thing. Does this mean I have a problem?

Secure Boot State On
PCR7 Configuration Bound

Help needed, please:

I have an HP All-in-One desktop PC, running Win 10 Home edition (64-bit). I am trying to determine if Device Encryption is available on this PC.

Under System Info, Device Encryption Support shows: Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: Hardware Security Test Interface failed and device is not Modern Standby.

What exactly does this mean and how do I fix the Hardware Security Test Interface failure and make the device "Modern Standby"?
