Windows 10: Device Manager - keeps reloading

Hi ! Device Manager keeps reloading will not steady list to enable me to drill down to look into any devices... Other symptoms - I keep getting an unknown printer showing up when I go to add a printer. Does this indicate a breach of network security ? It seems to me it does because it sure is NOT my printer ! Cannot remove printer either... Ideas for how do I resolve ( yes rebooted ) ? Running Norton 360 (Win 10) which is usually pretty good at Network security.

Device manager reloads with Creators

Just installed Creators on my Dell laptop. I noticed that when I open Device Manager, it reloads frequently. Sometimes within a few seconds and other times 10-15 seconds. It did not do that before the upgrade. Comments? Suggestions? Thanx - Bob

No hardware listed in Device manager?

I don't konw whathappend but in Device manager and in my Network connections there is nothing where there used to be a Modem listed and all my hardware in Device Manager. What happend and how do I fix this?

 

Imaging Devices missing in Device Manager and Webcam doesn't working

Hi,

Since you mentioned that the said driver is missing in Device Manager, what we suggest is for you to check in the Hidden Devices section on Device Manager. Kindly follow the steps below:

• On the desktop, press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager.
• Click on View and select
  Show Hidden Devices.
• Check for the webcam under Imaging Devices.
• If the webcam is listed, then right-click on it and select
  Update Driver Software
• Select Browse My Computer for Driver Software and follow the prompted steps.
