    Device Manager recognition issue


    Device Manager incorrectly recognizes this fingerprint reader straight from China as a CD drive. Windows won't let me update the driver because Windows thinks it already has the best driver.Is there any way I can fix this myself? Registry modification? Something else?Thanks, everyone.
