Windows 10: Device manager shows 32 processors but task manager only 16 Dual CPU not fully recognised

    Hello there,I'm running a dual Xeon CPU E5-2670 8 cores/16 logical processors each setup and until recently, this was reflected by my task manager stating 16 cores and 32 logical processors in the performance tab. But after a recentWindows reinstall, these values have been halved in the task manager. The device manager however stil

    device manager not showing correct cpu

    this one has me confused, .When i look in device manage under processors it is still showing my old q8200 cpu and ive upgraded to the q9650. why would it not show this in device manager? , The bios shows it, cpuiz shows the q9650, the vista basic information shows it but not under device manager/ should I be concerned about this ? any ideas would be great thanx Dragon

    wrong CPU cores in Task Manager

    i upgraded my CPU from i7-7820x 8core/16Threads to i9 14cores/28threads, the Bios shows all 14cores, Device manager shows all 28threads, in the task manager the model of the processor is correct, but still shows 8cores/16threads, i have reboothed the cpu
    twice, still shows the old processor values

    Wrong CPU Type Reported in Task Manager

    Today I upgraded my CPU, replacing my previous i5 processor with an i7.

    Unfortunately, Task Manager still shows the old CPU type when I launch it and click the "Performance" tab. Third-party apps such as CPU-Z show the correct i7 processor, but Task Manager doesn't. Ditto if I pull up system information in Control Panel; it
    shows the old CPU as well. Device Manager does, too.

    Any ideas?
