Device Manager unused devices causing many problems, how to solve

In Device Manager click View > Show hidden devices to delete all unused devices at that time because of the following issues long list: * In Microsoft Office 365 typing focus intermittently lost causing typing issues. If you watch the cursor flash in Microsoft Word, it will stop or disappear about every 3 to 5 seconds where the cursor no longer flashes, and then comes back to flashing again. During this time if you are typing, what you type when the focus is lost is not typed. When focus returns, then it picks up on what you are typing at that time. Thus, you have to go back to correct

[SOLVED] Windows 8.1 Not Detecting USB Devices

It is possible you may need to run VIAO update, after your upgrade to 8.1, to check for new drivers and patches.

Edit: Also, have you gone to device manager and check the item in the menu "show hidden devices".
See if their are any problems, uninstall any usb devices, and their associated listings in the other sections of the device manager that should not be there.

If need be... try GhostBuster to remove any ghosted devices you need/want gone.

You may need to do a refresh of Windows 8.1 as a last resort.

    X800 GTO2 = Unknown Device

I flashed the BIOS on my X800 GTO2 last night and it is listed in the Device Manager as an Unknown Device. Is this normal?
