Windows 10: Device not detected when I connect my Sandisk MP3 player.

Discus and support Device not detected when I connect my Sandisk MP3 player. in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I have connected my Sandisk MP3 player to my Windows 10 laptop via USB cable but it is not detecting the device at all.     Device not detected when I connect my Sandisk MP3 player.


    I have connected my Sandisk MP3 player to my Windows 10 laptop via USB cable but it is not detecting the device at all. Can anyone help?

    Upgrading SanDisk MP3 player

    Windows Media Player is a media Player and will not open this file . . .

    Here are the instructions for upgrading your Sandisk MP3 Player:

    • Remove any external card from the MP3 Player before performing firmware update
    • Ensure your MP3 Player battery is at least 50% full
    • Plug in your MP3 Player to your computer
    • Copy Upgrade.hex to your MP3 player - do not put it into a folder, just copy it to the root of the MP3 Player
    • Disconnect the MP3 Player and let the firmware update begin
    • Once it finishes doing its update, it will turn itself off
    • Turn the MP3 Player, Select your language and region preference

    Upgrading SanDisk MP3 player

    Windows Media Player cannot play the "upgrade.hex" file for my SanDisk MP3 player. Is there any other program that will play that "upgrade.hex file?
