Windows 10: Device not recognized windows 10

I am having trouble with my mouse. Whenever I connect it to my Lenovo Thinkpad on Windows 10, the red light does not come on and I see a notification saying "The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." I have attempted several solutions which I found on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/backup-and-storage/usb-device-not-recognized-error, but none of them have worked. Compoint manufactured the mouse I am using. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

Some USB Devices not recognized in Windows 10

Hi have Windows 10 Pro insider preview 10532 64bit Pro Intel i7 desktop PC.

I have multiple USB devices connected, USB 3 & 2. The USB HDD is working however my Samsung phone and kindle are no longer being recognized. The steps followed so far:

• Uninstalled all USB devices in device manager including controllers
• Flashed BIOS to latest version
• Updated USB drivers for the devices from manufacturers sites
• Tried new USB cables

Please note: both devices are recognized by my Windows 10 Lenovo laptop.

I really don't want to fresh install, please suggest any diagnostics I can try.

How can I get Windows 10 to recognize an Unspecified Device as a Printer?

I have installed a DYMO printer, but it is not listed as a printer but only as an Unspecified Device. How can I get Windows 10 to recognize an Unspecified Device as a Printer? All printer troubleshooting steps require it to be listed as a Printer, and
all Help solutions assume that it can be recognized as a printer.

In addition, we suggest that you turn off the notifications from the USB by following these steps:

• Open Settings by typing "settings" in Cortana's search box.
• Click on Devices.
• Locate USB and toggle the switch to Off.
