Windows 10: device not started on uhd 770 igfxn

Nokia 770...beginner questions...

When installing the various applications for the 770, how simple is the process?

Gaim for example; do i have to buy it? do i download it to a PC and transfer it to the 770? is there a step by step installtion guide somewhere?

The same goes for all apps really; i am not a developer..i'm a consumer and need to know if there is support for consumers like me?

Bluetooth "service list" on a 770

Howdo,

First post and - of course - its because I have an interesting problem and I can't find a solution through searching the forum.

I have a Nokia 770 running the latest 2006 OS version, which is just fab. Except! Today a mate took some pictures of the flooding going on round my way with his Samsung U600 phone. He wanted to bluetooth them onto my 770. Sounds easy enough.

So we paired the two machines. He selected a picture & selected "send by bluetooth" (or whatever the exact Samsung menu item is). There was a pause and then the phone came back with "service list not found" and that was that. No send picture

I've looked but I can't find anything on the 770 that suggests there's an option I have to select to get it to publish the service list (unless it has another name on the 770) and so I'm stumped.

Any ideas? Am I missing something? Can it just not be done? If not, why not - I though Bluetooth was a universal wossname.
