Windows 10: Device only charges when off . USB c charge port .

My device running windows 11 will not charge when on . I am using the original charger and it works for other devices and is the right wattage . I have also tried multiple other chargers. This doesn't feel like a hardware issue. As the charger works just fine when the system is off . I have tried uninstall uninstalling battery drivers and resetting . Resetting power plan to default settings and have even done a factory reset but still get the same issue . Computer will noclt charge when turned on . The USB c charge port does recognise when I plug in an external device but it just does not cha

USB/Charge port issues

Now my USB C port is useless. I can get a connection but the fit is so sloppy that the cable will not stay connected to the port. The only way I can charge is with a charging pad. I cannot believe no one else is having problems with the USB C port.
