  1. Device page refresh due to a hardware change everytime I unplug cable to second monitor.

I bought a new screen for my laptop since the old one was broken. I had to calibrate the color because it's just too bright but everytime I plug/unplug the cable it pops up with the error "The Devices pages javelin been refreshed due to a hardware change" and it resets the calibration every time. How do I stop it from resetting the calibration?

    :)

  2. I accidentally hit the update button instead of postpone and now my second monitor does not work.

    Hello,

I suggest you to unplug the cable from the monitor and connect to the second monitor, and check if it works.

Also, suggest you to follow the below steps, and check if it helps.
    1. Press Windows + X, and select Device manager.
    2. Check if the second monitor is listed under Monitor.

Also, recommend you to refer below link answered by

KelvinNikkel , and check if it helps in resolving the issue.

  3. 2 monitors - one 75hz, second 60hz. Refresh rate problem.

    Hi Dani,

Based on the details that you have shared, the issue that you have encountered with the refresh rate can be due to system file corruption. This happens when certain changes have been made to your PC that may have affected its performance. Having said, we
would like to ask a few questions so we can identify the appropriate troubleshooting steps.

    • What is the current build and version of your Windows 10 device? To check, type
winver in the search bar and press Enter.
    • Were you able to monitor the refresh rate settings if it reflects the changes to 60 Hertz while playing borderless?
    • Have you made any recent changes or installed updates prior to the issue?

For some users, they have tried reinstalling the graphics driver and reported that the issue went away. You may also try the suggested solution and let us know if it works.

We will wait for your response.

  4. Device page refresh due to a hardware change everytime I unplug cable to second monitor.

WIndows 10 - Second monitor keeps resetting / refreshing

I am having an issue with Windows 10. I have a second monitor connected to my laptop via HDMI. Every 10 minutes or so, the second monitor will refresh / reset, as if I have unplugged the HDMI cable and then plugged it back in. The screen goes black for a
couple of seconds, and all open programs get shifted back onto my laptop screen. I have updated Windows and the video drivers but the problem persists.

    Thanks
