Windows 10: Device requires further installation.

I have an issue with my GTX 1650 in my ACER Nitro 5 AN515-43-R32U. I have already tried removing my drivers using DDU and installing them back on the laptop with the latest drivers, I have the latest W-11 version and tried some other stuff on the internet."Device PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1F91&SUBSYS_142A1025&REV_A1\4&1a11cb31&0&0009 requires further installation."This has been driving me insane for the past months since I could see a degrade in the quality of certain games I play, any help is appreciated.Thanks

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

I have seen that message a few times (when installing new builds), clicking on it just makes it go away and as I have not experienced any problem with any device, I had assumed that windows sorted itself after delivering the message. perhaps that is not
the case.

on one occasion I did find something in security and maintenance, again it just required a button click.

click start, type security and you should see security and maintenance at the top of the list. check there for any notifications and or suggestions.

which devices are only working partially? what does it not do, that it should?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to go to Manufacturer web site and download and install the latest chipset driver for your device and check if it helps.

Step 2: I suggest you to check for the Windows updates and install all the updates.

  Press Windows logo key +R, enter
  MS-settings: and then press OK. This opens Settings.
  
• 
  In Settings, go to Update & security >
  Windows Update, and then select Check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your PC if required.
