I am unable to access info on my backup CD disks of files. his happened as you can see by my question after a windows 10 update.

I have not accessed the disks since that time but yesterday needed several files. I can hear that the hardware is working but cannot access the data

TSSTcorp CDDVDW

My cd-dvd won't mount DVD or CD-ROM but if a double click on it on device Manager it's will work, my events message in the properties box is :

DVD Device could not be migrated

I just migrated to 10 from 7 and 10 can't see my DVD drive in my list of drives in file explorer.

When I look at device manager I see this:

So device manager sort of sees it but has some issue with it

What do I need to do?

I have had Windows try to update the diver. It says it has the correct one. I diabled & reenabled.

 

Device not migrated issue leaves blu-ray drive unuseable

Device SCSI\CdRom&Ven_hp&Prod_BD_ROM_BC-5550H\4&87bcdb9&0&050000 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match.

I've searched and non of the solutions found work. Also it cannot be rolled back.

Please help.
