Windows 10: Device Security: Standard Hardware is not supported

To whom it may concern, I am trying to help my parents with their PC. I had recently just done a PC reset because the Windows Updates keep getting errors and wouldn't update. The reset seems to have fixed that issue. However, I noticed in their Windows Security, that there is an alert for Device Security. It is saying that the "Standard hardware is not supported" However, it should be as they do have TPM and they are using Windows 11.Any input on this would be helpful. I did watch a favorite tech YouTuber of mine that goes by BrenTech and he mentioned that this error could be a bug and that th

Standard Hardware Security not supported

Hi Paul,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to run hardware troubleshooter and let us know if that helps.

Type "Troubleshooting" in the
Windows Search bar and press Enter.

1. Click on "View All" in the top left corner.
2. This will display the list of troubleshooters which are built-in in the computer. You can click on Hardware and Devices from the list and you can run the troubleshooter.

Also I would suggest to check if there are any update pending with regard to drivers and to do so, please follow steps mentioned below.

1. Search for Device Manager in
   Windows search bar.
2. Click on Device Manager.
3. Check if there Yellow Exclamation Point in the list of drivers.

Make sure Windows is up to date.

Device Security - Standard Hardware Security Not Supported

Hello, so i reinstalled windows 11 recently and i have a notification in my Windows Security, i clicked on it to see what's wrong and it take me to Device Security section.
In Device Security i have this text: Standard Hardware Security Not Supported. Your device does not meet the requierments for standard hardware security. Devices have different hardware built in that Windows uses to provide additional protection.
I looked over the requierments and i meet them so i don't know why it's not working.

motherboard should support UEFI , cpu with VT , and TPM , otherwise Standard hardware security not supported will be displayed

so enable UEFI in BIOS , enable TPM in bios , enable intel VT in bios
