    Device security, Standard hardware security not supported bug.


    Noticed I get a " Device Security standard hardware security not supported" message on Windows 11 22H2 , if I do a reset on my PC. The only solution to resolve this was to downgrade back to Windows 10 Clean install than upgrade back to Windows 11 again. Even reset my PC after the first downgrade /upgrade just to see if it would cause this issue again and it did, "Hardware Security" message re-appeared so it seems a reset causes this Device Managment hardware security message bug. Wondering if anyone else has or had this "Device Security" message who has done a reset on their PC.

    "Standard hardware security not supported" in Windows Security recurring bug

    To my understanding this has been a recurring bug with Windows Security for a while now.

    Build 22621 "Standard hardware security not supported" In Device Security

    Since I updated to 22h2 the device security pane has started showing the message above, the smart app control has a similar issue. I do in fact meet all the hardware requirements with everything enabled tpm 2.0, secure boot etc... but I keep getting this message.

    Is Microsoft aware of this bug, are they actively working on it and is there any workarounds as of right now?

    Device Security - Standard Hardware Security Not Supported

    Hello, so i reinstalled windows 11 recently and i have a notification in my Windows Security, i clicked on it to see what's wrong and it take me to Device Security section.
    In Device Security i have this text: Standard Hardware Security Not Supported. Your device does not meet the requierments for standard hardware security. Devices have different hardware built in that Windows uses to provide additional protection.
    I looked over the requierments and i meet them so i don't know why it's not working.

    motherboard should support UEFI , cpu with VT , and TPM , otherwise Standard hardware security not supported will be displayed

    so enable UEFI in BIOS , enable TPM in bios , enable intel VT in bios
