I have 2 USB drives.

For one drive, 'WD easystore 25FA USB Device Properties' _/Events\_ shows this:

Last Device Instance Id: USBSTOR\DISK&VEN_GENERIC-

For other drive, 'WD easystore 25FA USB Device Properties' _/Events\_ shows this:

What is meant by "migrated"?

What would cause an "ambiguous match"?

Device not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match

Using Win10 on Lenovo ideapad 330S. I am using a USB to ATA/ATAPI bridge to access data on a Western Digital IDE HDD. Windows will not display the content. The bridge and drive both register "device configured" and "device started," but then "device
not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match." Device status for both is: "This device is working properly."

Attempting to attach Audio-Technica AT-LP60 USB turntable through USB2 port. Device is not communicating.

Device Manager reports:

Line (USB ASUDIO CODEC)-This device is working properly.
