Windows 10: Device USB\VID_0C45&PID_6448&MI_00\7&252d1c10&0&0000 requires further installation. Help!

Hi Microsoft,

My webcam no longer works. I'm not sure when it stopped working....

I've tried almost everything. The only thing I haven't tried is opening up my laptop and working on the hardware.


I've tried multiple times uninstalling it and restarting my computer.

I've tried looking for new drivers.

I've tried getting a new camera app from the Microsoft app store.


When I look in device manager, I can see it as a hidden device. I see this message on the General tab:

Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. Code 45

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.



Can you help me?

windows 10 camera not working error 0xA00F4273

for my web cam in my Dell 3520 laptop any more ideas

how come i have this on my mic gives me this message: Device USB\VID_046D&PID_0A03&MI_00\8&17660f6f&0&0000 requires further installation.

 

Device USB\VID_1BCF&PID_2C55&MI_00\6&9e1e39c&0&0000 requires further installation.

6&9e1e39c&0&0000 refers to the systems folders and USB\VID_1BCF&PID_2C55&MI_00 refers to the two discrete files, sorry about that error.
