Windows 10: Devices icon has vanished from Taskbar

Discus and support Devices icon has vanished from Taskbar in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; My Taskbar no longer has the devices icon, the one which allows you to 'safely remove a device' such as a USB drive.     Devices icon has vanished from Taskbar


    My Taskbar no longer has the devices icon, the one which allows you to 'safely remove a device' such as a USB drive. I have no idea what happened to it. I hoped re-booting might bring it back but it has not. How do I recover it?*Eek

    About Windows 10 upgrade

    No, i didn't change anything. The windows 10 app icon from my taskbar has also vanished. Will i get it back?

    Displaying Cortana search area with small taskbar icons

    Hello everybody,

    I have numerous application's shortcuts pinned to my taskbar, consequently, I've chosen to use small taskbar icons, however the search area has then vanished. Is there any way to bring it back with small taskbar icons?

    Hi, try plugging in a device - the icon should reappear..

    Thanks, I found it in the 'show hidden icons' Window (really obvious!) but I will remember your tip for future use.
