Windows 10: Devices no longer appear on "This PC" after upgrading Win8 to Win10

My external hard disks , and one MP3 player (all USB devices) are no longer recognized, nor appear on "This PC", after I upgraded my Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 OS. Other devices, such as my Android phone USB connection still works well. I made sure that the "Automatic download of driver software for devices" is turned on in the Device Installation Setup. Any idea how to solve this problem?

petrib is correct. It is a shortcut to SIM numbers.

Numbers on your SIM might not be in the position you think. Just because they appear sorted in alphabetical order in the contacts list doesn't mean that they appear in that same order on the SIM. On the SIM they appear in the order in which you input them,
unless you delete a number in which case the next one entered takes its place.

When I click a certain number on keypad on any NOKIA mobile
Then click the symbol " # ", then a number of
a contact "in my contact list" will be appeared.
Is there anyone know how is that???
I feel curious toward this puzzle :smileyvery-happy:

That looks like a driver problem. I would suggest that you manuallysearch for the latest available USB and chipset drivers from yourmotherboard manufacturer web site. Good luck.

Please note that I do see some devices (printer, vellphone as mass storage) but not others.
How do I know which motherboard I have in my Dell Inspiron?
