Windows 10: Devide brightness stuck at max, cannot be changed through settings

So far i have tried restarting the systemreinstalling drivers to fix the issuerunning checks through command promptand some other methods listed online and none seem to worki am using a laptop : lenevo ideapad gaming

Change screen brightness

My laptop screen is dull. Need to make it brighter. However the suggestion --> Start - Settings - System - Brightness and color

does not work. It is already set to max. brightness but there is no reaction. Screen remains dull. By the way there is no change if I move slide to minimum brightness, it would not change brightness level at all. Any suggestion?

I suggest you follow these steps:

Select Start, choose Settings, then select System > Display. Under Brightness and color, move the Change brightness slider to adjust the brightness. (If the slider isn't there, see the Notes section below.)

Windows 10 Screen Brightness Problem

Upgraded to Win 10 from 7 on Gateway Laptop and screen brightness is stuck on very low setting. Keyboard controls show increase in brightness but nothing happens on the screen. Went into settings and adjusted brightness to max on battery
and power with no change. Upgraded drivers - no change. Suggestions please.
