Windows 10: Devs, please make the task bar stop appearing for every notification, or give us a way to...

This is seriously making me slowly migrate my stuff to Linux and Mac and use Windows only for gaming. I know there are many other improvements that could be made but this is my number one annoyance for productivity. Anytime there is a notification or something changes on an open app, the task bar appears with the highlighted app. This will not go away, even with the disappearing task bar and manually closing the task bar. You have to bring the app into focus and acknowledge the change in state. I've broken down at work and just made the task bar stay in view all the time but this probably isn't the great for screen space or OLED / any screen longevity.

How does that serve productivity? Just make a notification appear either temporarily (as they do if on) or that can be closed out if notifications / badges are turned on. Even with notifications and badges turned off, the task bar appears no matter what, so you're effectively getting mandatory notifications that obstruct the entire length of the screen until you stop your workflow and go to an entirely different app.

Notifications/task bar

So I have a dual monitor setup and my main monitor is what I use to game but my notifications always pop up and I have moved the task bar with the notifications to my secondary monitor but after a few minutes the notifications will start appearing on my
main monitor again. Also sometime I'll lock the the task bars but the one with the notifications on will jump over to my main monitor out of no where while it is locked. I've been told to make my second monitor the main but then my games run like **** and
even when I make them windowed and drag them over to the main they feel super choppy. So my question is there a way to make my notifications and task bar stop jumping over to my main/gaming monitor even though they're supposed be locked?

 

Throttlestop obsidian not showing readouts in task bar

Hello

I had the previous version of throttlestop installed on a surface pro running windows 10 and it was working beautifully but now I am having trouble getting throttlestop to show temp/cpu reporting in the windows task bar. I have 'Task Bar' checked in the main window but still nothing appears. The check boxes within Options for Notification Area such as CPU Temp and CPU Mhz do not respond when clicked. Am i missing something/is there something else I need to do in order to get throttlestop obsidian to report to the task bar?
