Windows 10: DHCP server can’t be reached

Hi , I’ve been at my computer desk for two days straight trying to fix an issue that everyone is currently experiencing as well , I can’t connect to the DHCP server , I’ve tried everything , from deleting network drivers ,restarting modem , different Ethernet cables , manual ip address , calling the network provider for my router and none of em seem to have fix it . My Ethernet cable states that it is connected , it also states that DHCP is enabled however the server can’t be reached . I’ve tried ipconfig/renew and everything . I’m on the verge of staring into a ceiling .

How to configure radius for DHCP Server in windows server 2012?

I am trying to configure radius with dhcp.Already installed a dhcp server in windows server 2012. Does dhcp is required to be authorized .For now,it is not authorized.Also,installed NPS role in another server 2012. How to configure radius for dhcp?

Please guide with the detailed steps.

 

The DHCP Server service terminated without a valid clue

DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol): Every device on TCP/IP needs unique IP address to access the network. DHCP controls the allotment of IP addresses. However, if
you can access internet, DHCP should work fine. But if there is some issue with the internet, you can follow these steps and resolve the DHCP error.

I suggest you to follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows and
   R key together on your Keyboard.
   
2. Type Control and hit enter.
   
3. Click on Network and internet > click on Change adapter settings
   on the left pane.
   

4. Right click on the Ethernet connection you are using and select properties.


5. Select Internet protocol version 4 (TCP/IPV4) and click on properties.


6. Check the following radio boxes:

• Obtain an IP address automatically
• Obtain DNS server address automatically

7. Now windows 10 will retrieve the IP address automatically.

Cant reach DCHP server after blackout

We noticed you are having problem with reaching DHCP server. Which is pretty confusing for daily computer user.



May I know:

• Where did you get the error message, usually user will report some general internet connectivity issue?
  
• What have you tried exactly? Without that we have few contexts about your problem.
  
• Do you have another device, can they reach the internet through your home router without any problem? Or the network just down for all the devices.
  
• When you say black-out, did you mean that the computer has experiencing some sudden
  

shutdown because of power lost, am I correct?



For your problem specifically, the DHCP server is usually locate at your router, which is not under the control of Windows system from my limited knowledge. So, my primary suspect is the router are malfunctional.



My suggestion for you currently is:

• Another device
  

Confirm the issue is on this device only. Try reach the internet on another device.

• Router setting
  

You might need to check the router side. First try to reset the router (usually there is a physical button near the connection panel at the back of router). Which is depends on the exact router model you process, for that I am afraid you might need to reach the support on the router side to get precise instruction --- or provide your router information.



Without your detail, I am afraid there is little solution we could provide, pardon us please give us your situation. Looking forward about your reply.
