Windows 10: Diablo 2 LoD , launch error 0xc000000d

as shown in the screenshot , thats my error , ive tried running it as an adminstrator , patching it with the latest update , windowed , compatibility mode in windows XP sp 2 or 3 . reduced colour mode in 16-bit , override high dpi scaling scaling performed by application...oh yeah and i JUST bought and installed the gold edition so we can rule out corrupted torrent downloads. thanks in advance *Smile

Cant stretch game window to full desktop size

In Diablo 2:LOD there has often been a similar problem. This exact thing may not work, but it will give you a place to start...

Right click on your guild wars icon.

It will bring up the properties.

Click the Shortcut tab at the top (it should be in the middle of the bottom row)

The third line down will say Target: then have a text box. For my Diablo 2, the target path looks like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe"

With the quotations included, at the end of your target path, try typing -nofixaspect

So it would look like:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -nofixaspect

Just make sure you use your file path name, and a space between that, and the -

See if that works. If not, try contacting the manufacturer of Guild Wars, and talk to their support department. Normally the game support people are great at figuring these things out.
