Windows 10: Diablo 2 resurrected will not load after updating windows

Hello, I have purchased a new HP omen Gaming laptop, I downloaded battletnet launcher and downloaded D2R and was successfully able to play the game. I updated the laptop and went to play and have continued to have launch issues. it will not launch the game and window says it has encountered an unexpected error. I have uninstalled the battle net launcher and D2r with no fix. as well as reinstalled windows. Upon update HP Omen gaming app did open and that’s when the first crash happened. I have disabled omen gaming app at startup, with no changes to launch..I have contacted blizzard support and

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Then you have 2 options left:

• Do a system Restore and go back when your updates worked.
• Do a repair install, which keeps everything and reinstalls Windows.
