Windows 10: Diarium App from Microsoft Store

I have purchased and installed Diarium from the Microsoft App Store. I have recently noticed the Desktop version is different to the Android version. The Developer tells me they should be the same. And if he downloads the Desktop App he gets the correct version. Mine appears to be stuck on Version 2.1.1.0

I have tried resetting the App Store. Tried uninstalling and re-installing the app.

Still get version 2.1.1.0. it should be Version 2.5.4.0

I have installed the app using my account on a different PC I own which has never had Diarium installed before and it still installs a Version 2.1.1.0 and no update. Developer says the App Store version is Version 2.5.4.0.

I do not have a different Microsoft Account to install from to try and I am concerned that there is an issue with my Microsoft Account and the App store.

My Windows is fully updated to the very latest version.

Help or advice please.

Diarium App Synching

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

What are you trying to sync between Diarium application and OneDrive?

Please make sure you are using the same Microsoft Account in OneDrive/Google Drive as well as in Diarium application.

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to run the
Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Store and check if this helps.

If you are still facing the same issue, then I would suggest you to contact Diarium Application manufacture from the section
Publisher Info from
Diarium — Private Diary / Daily Journal and contact the Application manufacturer to get the issue resolved.

Microsoft Diarium app

Well I have been in contact with the Vendor and he assures me the latest version of Diarium 2.4.5. is in the Microsoft Store. His Analytics show plenty of Windows users running it. And he has updated his own version from the Microsoft Store.

I have installed New copies of the Diarium program on two other Windows 10 PC's which have never had it on them before , when getting the App from the store it knows I own the App and installs. Both of those PC's also get Version 2.1.1.0n the same
as my Laptop and there are no updates.

Can the issue be linked with my account and the app?
