Windows 10: Did a PC Reset in Windows 11 and Windows Security is a White Screen Only

The touchpad on my laptop stopped functioning, and one of the fixes suggested was to do a PC Reset.I did one, choosing to keep all my files. Once that was completed and I started reinstalling all the non-Microsoft apps, I stopped midway through this task to run the antivirus.When attempting to open Windows Security from the system tray, it produces a white screen. I let it sit there a minute to see if it would load, but it never did.I finally went into my settings and clicked on Virus Protection to see if I could access it that way, and it popped up with message that said, "Page not available.

Black screen after 'Starting Windows' sequence

Sounds like the old... windows black screen of death.

Windows Security Windows only shows Shield Icon on white screen after installing Windows 11

I updated my Machine with some challenges to Windows 11 H23H2.

After that the Machine itself did several updates.

The Windows updater now says I'm Up to Date

I wanted to check the settings in the Windows Security, it just shows a white screen with a Shield logo in the middle.

No Security options are loaded or displayed.

I want to fix this before I install my Norton Security

Any Suggestions

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
