Windows 10: Did anyone launch their old WLM2012 today and get bombarded with outlook.com login requests?

I fired up WLM2012 on my "e-mail" PC today 01/23/2020 and started getting "you've got to login error messages" or words to that effect. When I'd click OK the Outlook.com login popup would appear and when I'd enter my credentials it would just popup the error window again. After fighting with it for a few minutes I went searching the World Wide Wait and found an old thread that said turn off the Outlook sign in option in WLM. That made the error/signin popup go away.

The thread I found also indicated that closing WLM and reopening would allow you to sign back into Outlook.com again. That doesn't appear to be true anymore. More searching found this support article "Windows Live Mail 2012 will not connect to Outlook.com" https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Windows-Live-Mail-2012-will-not-connect-to-Outlook-com-45453b92-373b-4bbb-88ca-f8ec74f8e8fd that says: "Windows Live Mail 2012 will no longer synchronize email, contacts, and calendar events from these accounts because Windows Live Mail 2012 does not support the modern synchronization technologies used by the new Outlook.com." I'm not sure how old that article is since I can't find a date but I'm guessing that it either took awhile for my account to get updated with the "modern synchronization technologies" or the update just went in effect today.

It appears that Outlook.com email is still being downloaded via the POP3 connection, but their is no calendar or contact info available in WLM 2012 anymore.

Automatic login to Outlook on launching Internet Explorer browser on Windows 10.

Let me confirm that the URL link http://www.msn.com/?pc=EUPP_ is safe and a valid MSN link. The extension
part of the URL is automatically added as part of site redirection and nothing more.
Since the extension is safe and genuine to use, it is not necessary to remove the extension.



If the issue to login to Outlook on launching the browser is recent, I suggest you to change the
Internet Explorer settings by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

  Open Internet Explorer web browser and press
  Alt + X keys on the keyboard to open the browser settings.
  
• 
  Select Internet Options from the menu.
  
• 
  From the window, un-check Start with tabs from the last session under
  Startup option.

  Click on Apply and OK.

  Close and open the browser to check if the changes are effective.

Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

  Are you able to login to Microsoft Account on Web?
  
• 
  Have you installed any language pack?
  

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

outlook account config

SO today my friend asked me if i could post this question on the forum:



He wants to configure a outlook account with 1 email, with that outlook account he wants to run the same account in 2 diferent computers he wants the both computer to be connected in network, for example:

• he receives a email and that email is sent to each computer;
• he deletes a email from one computer and it also deletes on the other;
• he moves a email to a folder it also moves on the other computer;

If you guys can help me would be nice!
