Did Microsoft push out an update thinking we are all 80+ years old?

I logged into Microsoft and the display and navigation panes on Outlook, Excel and Word are all bigger... like the system thinks I'm visually impaired. I reviewed all the ease of access and accessibility toggles and nothing is turned on. I toggled to the "new Outlook" and everything is the correct size there but on the old outlook it's like they think you're 80 years old. Same thing on excel. how do I make things smaller again. It's only affecting Microsoft apps, everything else is fine i.e. Chrome, and other apps.

    :)

  2. Add-Ons for Firefox crash since update to 80

I don't have an answer on the new profile thing as I want to find that answer also. Can you create a new profile, but sync/keep your old profiles settings/add-ons? I don't know.

As far as creating a new one you can do that, and keep your old one. You can add as many profiles as you want. Just go to "aboutDid Microsoft push out an update thinking we are all 80+ years old? :profiles"

A suggestion I would also say is do a manual check for add-on updates. LastPass just updated yesterday, so maybe that will fix that one. I get the feeling something in 80 changed, and the add-ons are crashing because of a/the conflict as I found just about all my add-ons have been updated in the past week, or at least since 80 was released, when previously they haven't been updated in months (if not over a year). I haven't had a crash in over 4 days.

Add-Ons for Firefox crash since update to 80

I left Firefox open over night and attempted to login to LastPass this morning - all the addons crashed. I had Firefox Task Manager open at the time and before attempting the login all addons were in the list and not using very much resources. After attempting login, all of the addons disappeared from the Firefox Task Manager list.

I will try the additional suggestions.

If I want to try a new profile without losing my saved/sync profile (and hopefully with the option of syncing my data back into the new profile) what steps should I take? Or is it just a given that if it is profile corruption, the sync profile is junk...?

    Thanks!
