Windows 10: Did my 1903 upgrade fail? Not had a signal to the monitor for hours.

My 1903 upgrade is just sitting at a blank screen. There's no signal coming from the PC. The monitor is switched on but it may as well be off.

It's been like that for hours. The hard drive LED is flashing but it looks like it's just slowly ticking over, rather than being very active.

Has the upgrade failed, or should I leave it longer?

My instinct is that it hasn't worked. I've been feeling like I want to re-start the P.C. for hours, but thought I best check.

What should I do?

No signal on acer monitor with 10 upgrade.

After installing the windows ten upgrade my monitor has just failed to receive any signal and remains on standby. Even after a reboot. I only have one monitor so it is nota second display. How a supposed to work with no visual output?

This happens if the signal from the video adapter exceeds the scan range of the monitor. The video card is feeding the monitor a signal stream in excess of what the monitor can accommodate. The two main causes for this are that either the resolution
or the vertical frequency is set high.

You may try the troubleshooting steps listed in HP and Compaq Flat Panel Monitors - Flat Panel Monitor Displays Message about
No Signal, Signal out of Range, Sleep, or Power Save and check if it helps.
