Windows 10: Didn't display the Chinese characters when i type pinyin

Discus and support Didn't display the Chinese characters when i type pinyin in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; But it does display the Chinese characters when I change it back to the previous version of Microsoft pinyin....     But it does display the Chinese characters when I change it back to the previous version of Microsoft pinyin.

    I was able to add the Chinese language keyboard, Simplified...my problem is that I don't really need the

    characters but only want to type in Pinyin with the tone marks. I cannot read characters. .anyway I can

    use Pinyin with tone marks?

    adding option for typing chinese characters

    Thank you for your response. Sorry for the delay.

    What I'm trying to do is type the pinyin word with tones from a standard US keyboard and have the computer convert the pinyin word automatically to a Chinese character on the screen. So the result is I can press the standard keyboard US letters that
    repesent the pinyin word with tones and the screen will automatically display only the Mandarin character. I m told this can be done but I don't know how to do it.
