  1. Different BSOD's for the past three months.

    Hi, so, for the last three months i got constans BSOD's. They don't appear when im doing something in particular, mostly when the pc in chilling with no stress. They started one month after the pc was build and running smooth. Here are the specs:

    MoBo:MSI B450A-Pro Max

    GPU: RTX 3070 eagle oc

    RAM: Patriot viper steel 2x8GB 3200 MHz with xmp and without

    PSU:Corsait Tx650m

    Storage: Kingston A2000 nvme

    What have i done:

    Latest BIOS came out two days ago and drivers, fresh windows 10 like 10 times. Mem test on both sticks together and alone. PSU in OCCT, storage is one month old and it happened on my old one too i was thinking it might be a problem with the old storage so i bought the nvme, don't know what i can do more, im just loosing hope with this system. Here are links to my dump files. https://mega.nz/file/chMi0TDY#oR404kNhVDYhAYboZ2b6nxiXlVDixVJcQu5mnnXqxFQ

    :)

    Best thermal paste

    Most decent thermal paste is about all the same (1-2 degree difference). Without knowing the two listed, (I use MX-2), I would suggest going with the one that is non-conductive.

    7 different BSoD

    Hey guys,

    I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

    • system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
    • updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
    • updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
    • rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
    • removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD
    • Temps are fine
    • no sfc /scannow errors
    • no chkdsk errors
    • Prime, Furmark all fine
    • regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
    • I did no hw changes, no OC
    Here are my BSoDs I receive:
    • 0x0000010e
    • 0x1000007e
    • 0x0000007e
    • 0x0000004e
    • 0x0000003b
    • dxgmms1.sys
    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    They all refer to the GPU of course ...

    From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
    Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

    Any advice or info would be very much appreciated *Smile Different BSOD's for the past three months. :)
