    Different display between .txt file in Notepad and Sharepoint


    Why does my report in Notepad look different if I open it on Sharepoint? The ".txt" file is first downloaded from ORACLE and then some manual changes are made to the report. The columns look well placed on my PC, but when I open the report on Sharepoint I see the columns moved to one side. Because of this, the macro in Excel that requires information from the report in ".txt" format is not doing the right calculations.

    Creating desktop icon for Notepad txt file

    I used to have recent notepad files listed under "Most Used" in the Start menu. How can I restore desired files to the "Most Used" position, or how can I create a desktop icon for a specific Notepad txt file?

    Find a word in a lot txt files

    beats me. but it is faster using grep. what's more, in a business if you were scan through tens of thousands of documents the time saved would really add up. just saying.

    the OP has a bunch of txt files and he is trying to avoid doing what you suggested because it takes forever when youve got a bunch of files.

    Different display between .txt file in Notepad and Sharepoint

    Drag and Drop txt to Notepad won't work


    Normally, if I have notepad open, I would be able to click and drag an appropriate file into notepad, like a txt file, and it would open in notepad. Now, when I click and drag files into notepad, nothing happens.
    Any Suggestions.
