Windows 10: Different Keyboard layouts supported in microsoft pinyin?

Hello everyone,


My problem is, that I use a QWERTZ german keyboard and I have to write pinyin on my PC. I have scoured the internet for a while now, and it seems to be impossible to switch keyboard layouts when using microsoft pinyin. I don't think I have to explain why this is very frustrating, and I am now at the point of considering other chinese input methods, even though I enjoy just hitting super + space keys to switch language.

Are there any solid alternatives? I can't be the only one that has to deal with this...


I found this list, on which qwerty is the only option listed for chinese: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/wi.../desktop/windows-language-pack-default-values.

This can't be too hard to do, I feel like this should be working out of the box.


Please fix this, microsoft!

There are many more similar suggestions, which come (as of today) to a combined value of 868 votes. Is there any possibility to have the redundant suggestions combined into one?
